The department of intelligent measuring systems and quality engineering has more than 60 years of experience in training highly qualified engineering personnel. The main direction of the department's activity is the training of bachelors and masters in the field of development, production, operation and metrological support of modern intelligent measuring systems, as well as in the field of standardization, certification and quality management.

Training of personnel is carried out by experienced teachers, including 13 candidates and 2 doctors of technical sciences. In the educational laboratories of the department, applicants receive educational, professional and scientific competencies.

Students of the department participate in international scientific conferences, internships, including foreign ones, undergo industrial practice at modern enterprises, take an active part in student life.

The department carries out scientific and research work, the topic of which is the improvement of technical and economic indicators of modern information and measurement systems due to new methods of design, operation and diagnostics, as well as the development of competitive hardware.
