"Aircraft Designing" 

This specialty is designed for the training of design engineers, design technicians and mechanics of aircraft and helicopter construction.

Training is based on modern methods of integrated design, engineering analysis, preparation for the production of aerospace technology with the widespread use of computer information technology. The high level of training of modern specialists is facilitated by research work in the Problem Research Laboratory of Aviation Structures and on the basis of the training / research and production center CAD / CAM / CAE, as well as the training process at SE "Antonov" (Kyiv), at KhDAVP (Kharkiv) under the guidance of teachers and specialists in the aviation industry.

Students are trained in specialized laboratories: aircraft design, helicopter design, power plants and systems. Training laboratories are equipped with the necessary equipment and full-scale aircraft, helicopters, their units, assemblies, parts and systems. The classrooms of the department are equipped with computer systems Simens NX, CATIA, ANSYS, KOMPAS. Production practice plays a significant role in the training of aviation specialists. Students have an internship at the enterprises of the aviation industry (SE named after OK Antonov (Kyiv), KhDAVP (Kharkiv)), as well as at private aviation enterprises.
