Academic title: professor at the department of applied mathematics.

Honorary titles:

- Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine for personal contribution to the development and implementation of an intelligent decision support system in the field of law enforcement;

- Laureate of the State Prize of Ukraine in the field of science and technology for the work "Ensuring functional security of critical information and control systems" (as part of the creative team).

Field of scientific interests: development of theoretical foundations of informatics and cybernetics; mathematical modeling and optimization of complex systems; intelligent information technologies.

He created a scientific school for computer modeling, design and optimization of complex spatial configurations in the aerospace, energy, telecommunications, logistics, multimedia and other fields of production.

Trained 10 doctors and candidates of sciences.

He has published more than 300 scientific works, including 9 monographs (of which 4 were published by Naukova dumka), 70 sections of monographs and articles indexed in the scientific and metric databases Scopus and Web of Science.

h-index=17 (Scopus).

He is among the top 2% of the world's most cited scientists in the field of informatics and computer science according to the ranking of Stanford University (USA), Elsevier and SciTech Strategies.

Member of the Scientific and Methodical Commission of the Higher Education Sector of the Scientific and Methodical Council of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Ukraine and the Scientific and Technical Council of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Ukraine ("Information and Communication Technologies" section).

He is a member of 7 editorial boards of specialized scientific publications, program committees of more than 20 international conferences, seminars, symposia.

Member of specialized scientific councils for awarding the scientific degree of Doctor of Sciences at Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics and Dnipro National University named after Oles Honchar.
